Viterium Roadmap

Viterium the User-Friendly Vite Wallet with Built in DeFi

Instantly improve your experience with Vite DeFi.

Tired of scanning QR codes to interact with DeFi apps like Viva Staking Pools and VITCStake? Want notifications when deposits are ready to be received? How about an organized contacts list for frequently used wallets instead of copying and pasting Vite addresses?

Short Answer: Viterium

There’s a lot happening in the Viterium wallet, and a lot more is planned for development. We’re going to give a quick overview of some of the top features, and plan to cover the development of Viterium closely.

Wallet & Transactions

Wallet Tab

First thing to notice is the clean user interface. At the top is the wallet name and camera for scanning QR codes. The wallet balance is shown in both BTC and fiat. Below that, all the tokens are listed under one tab and transaction under another.

Tokens can finally be rearranged manually by long pressing, then simply dragging to the desired position. If not enabled go to Settings > Advanced > Sort Tokens By > Manual.

On the transaction list, it’s possible to change the default block explorer that opens when selecting View Details on a transaction. Change this in Settings > Network > Block Explorer.

Built-In DeFi

Viterium vastly improves DeFi services, making the process simple by having them built into the app. Viva and VITCStake are Staking Pools and VITCSwap is a Decentralized Exchange that makes swapping tokens incredibly easy.

Pools

Viva Staking Pools

Viterium DeFi offers the same features as the official Viva and VITCSwap websites. It’s capable of filtering the pools you’re actively staked into and has a toggle for switching between Ended and Live Pools.

Simply select a staking platform, choose a staking pair and deposit. Claiming and withdrawing is just as easy. Tapping on a pools shows the current balance and remaining time as well as locking period, min/max deposit amount and more.

Exchange

VITCSwap

Hands down, the quickest and easiest way to swap tokens on Vite is built into Viterium with VITCSwap.

Simply choose a trading pair, make sure you’re happy with the exchange rate and slippage setting, then tap on the Swap button.

The order is instantly processed and tokens deposited into your wallet.

Contacts

Easy Contacts

Create a contact list and make sending to friends or other wallets much more convenient. No need to keep double checking a long string of letters and numbers just @ the contact name and confidently press send.

When viewing your transactions history, it also conveniently shows the contact name on sent and received transactions.

Notifications

Notifications! Finally

Viterium has built in support for incoming notifications, something the official Vite wallet is lacking.

In an upcoming release, we’re also going to be getting notifications when a pool ends… a much anticipated feature.

Themes

Choose a Theme

Viterium has a selection of themes to choose from.

Go to Settings > Themes and choose from list of 9 different themes.

There’s even a Natrium theme for those who like Nano.

If that all wasn’t enough to get excited about… Viterium also has a very ambitious roadmap that we can’t wait for! Just to list a few:

  • support for ViteTogether in DeFi tab
  • NFTs are being integrated into the app
  • Adding support for VITCGovernence, ViteNS, VINU Pay
  • Integrating a lite version of ViteX into the wallet
  • Web version and Desktop version
  • A companion app for Viterium that will work much like a hardware wallet

Did you know it’s possible to use the same wallet in the official Vite wallet and Viterium? Your mnemonic can be used to unlock and control the same wallet in both wallet apps.
